In 2019 Sanghata Global resolved to support raising funds for a ‘first of its kind’ project in East Jerusalem. The project aims to deliver apiculture and horticulture education and training to women. It will create vegetable gardens and install beehives on the rooftops of houses to help women produce fresh vegetables and honey for their economically stressed families and to sell surplus honey for cash income.
